Ingredients:

  1. 500 grams fresh gnocchi
  2. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  3. Pinch of salt and black pepper
  4. 75 grams unsalted butter
  5. 20 fresh sage leaves
  6. 2 cloves minced garlic
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  9. Zest of 1 lemon
  10. Juice of 1/2 lemon
  11. Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Cooking steps:

  • Boil the fresh gnocchi in a large pan of boiling water until it floats. Remove with a slotted spoon and place it in a bowl.
  • Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium to high heat. Add the gnocchi, salt, and black pepper. Fry for five to six minutes until the gnocchi develops a nice crust. Transfer the gnocchi to a bowl.
