Ingredients:

  1. Sweet potatoes
  2. Butter
  3. Dark brown sugar
  4. Evaporated milk
  5. Pure vanilla extract
  6. Nutmeg
  7. Cinnamon
  8. Salt
  9. One egg

Cooking steps:

  • Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces. Wash them quickly and add them to a pot of water, ensuring the water is above the sweet potatoes.
  • Boil the sweet potatoes until they're tender.
  • Use a hand mixer or potato masher to blend the sweet potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  • Add cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, egg, brown sugar, pure vanilla extract, butter, and evaporated milk. Mix well.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Butter a baking dish and add the sweet potato puree to it.
  • Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the marshmallows on top are melted and ooey gooey.
