Restaurant Style Chips and Salsa - Homemade Recipe
Welcome to Villa Cocina! In this recipe, we will be making restaurant style chips and salsa that are sure to impress. The chips are crispy and golden brown, while the salsa is bursting with flavor. We start by making the salsa using fresh Roma tomatoes, jalapenos, white onion, chiles, garlic, and water. After blending everything until smooth, we cook the salsa to intensify the flavors. Once the salsa is done, we set it aside to cool. Next, we make lime-infused salt by boiling lime juice and kosher salt. We then cut corn tortillas into triangles and fry them until they are crispy and golden brown. While the chips are still hot, we sprinkle them with the lime-infused salt for an extra kick of flavor. Finally, we serve the chips with the homemade salsa, topped with fresh cilantro and chopped white onion. This delicious combination of homemade chips and salsa is perfect for any gathering or a satisfying snack. Remember, homemade is always better than restaurant-made, so give this recipe a try and impress your friends and family with your culinary skills. Enjoy!
