Deep Dish BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe
Today on The Stay At Home Chef, I'm going to show you how to make Deep Dish BBQ Chicken Pizza. This recipe is every pizza lover's dream. Start by preheating your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. You'll need a dough ball that's about the size of an orange. Roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick and 2 inches larger in diameter than your pan.
Grease your pan and lay the pizza dough on top, making sure to overlap the edges to prevent shrinking. Spread your favorite barbecue sauce (1/4 - 3/4 cup) on the dough. Next, sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1 cup of cooked, shredded or cubed chicken, and about 1/2 cup of bacon crumbles on top. Add thinly sliced red onions to taste and finish with 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. You can add any other desired ingredients.
Roll and tuck the edge of the dough into the pan. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and brown and the dough is fully cooked. Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with cilantro. Now, get ready to enjoy the most mouthwatering pizza you've ever had!
