A Delicious Fig, Apricot, and Walnut Loaf Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 400g all-purpose plain flour
  2. 100g wholemeal flour
  3. 10g salt flake
  4. 7g dried yeast
  5. 350ml lukewarm water
  6. 100g walnuts
  7. 50g dried figs
  8. 50g dried apricots
  9. Semolina flour (for dusting)
  10. Mainland Buttersoft (for serving)

Cooking steps:

  • Mix all-purpose plain flour, wholemeal flour, salt flake, and dried yeast in a bowl.
  • Make a well in the center and pour in lukewarm water.
  • Start kneading the dough using the back part of your palm until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Add walnuts, dried figs, and dried apricots to the dough and mix well.
  • Dust the dough with semolina flour and shape it according to your preferred baking pan.
  • Allow the dough to proof for an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 200℃.
  • Slash the top of the dough with a sharp blade.
