Shrimp Scampi with Lemon Garlic Sauce Recipe

Today, we're making one of my favorite Italian meals - Shrimp Scampi with an amazing lemon garlic sauce. This restaurant-quality dish features succulent shrimp cooked in a flavorful sauce that combines the tanginess of lemon and the aromatic flavor of garlic. We start by seasoning one pound of peeled and deveined shrimp with kosher salt and black pepper. Then, we sauté some diced shallots and minced garlic in olive oil and butter until tender. The shrimp is added to the skillet and cooked until just opaque. Next, we create a delectable sauce by adding lemon zest, lemon juice, and white wine. The sauce is reduced, and chilled butter is whisked in for a thickened, emulsified texture. Finally, diced tomatoes and parsley are added to the pan, and the dish is cooked until warmed through. Serve this delicious shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta and garnish with cracked black pepper, parsley, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Enjoy this incredible dish with its mouthwatering flavors and delicate texture.
